The year of the Ox is officially about to start. If you’re celebrating Lunar New Year, you may have already marked February 12th. With the holiday overlapping with Valentine’s Day— we’ve got more reasons to celebrate.
Even though big celebrations or any of the usual holiday hoopla is not available at the moment, we can’t deny ourselves a little occasion for dress-up. Uniting with family, friends and loved ones is most importantly what the holiday’s about, whichever you chose to do it safely this year. But as far as symbolism and favorite things to do during the Chinese New Year, we’re voting for dressing up in red shades. You know, red is the color of the holiday, meaning happiness, passion, and above all—luck. So, celebrating with some scarlet fashion is totally the look for the occasion. Bonus point, if it’s your zodiac year, red is an especially lucky color for you.
Though we like every item in our collections, this time, we’re particularly recommending everything in red. Happy holiday!
